Introduction to Horse Riding
Join us for a half hour horse riding experience starting at charming Jesters Flat cottage. Learn the basics of horse riding on a gentle ride through the forest. Feed and brush down your horse at the end the ride and take a photo as a lasting momento of your travels! A lovely way to experience the beauty of horses in natural surrounds.
30 minute ride $45 Adults and Children.
Country Lane Tour
Take an easy and peaceful horse ride through premium Margaret River Bushland and along the winding country lanes. Theres always a chance to trot and canter towards the end of the ride. (Check out our latest home movie to see us up close.)
Relax afterwards with warm hand towels, cold drinks and hot breads!
One hour ride $55 adults $50 children
Drovers Tour
Ride out through the sheltered forest and across the rolling acres of farmland. Its your chance to ride around the cattle on a working Australian cattle farm. A brisk ride back to the cottage for hot bread, local olive oils and a complimentary beverage.
1.5 hours $70 adults $60 children
Bushmans Ride
A 2 hour ride across surrounding farmland and into the local bushlands. Plenty of scope for trotting and cantering along the way. This is quite an exhilarating ride, so you’ll need to have a little bit of fitness!
2 hours $95 adults $80 children.
Olive Grove Ride… NEW RIDE!!
A 2 hour ride to neighbouring Olive Grove 34 Degree South. Ride out through the Sun Paddock then straight into this working olive farm. The tour takes you down to the Margaret River and around the extensive lake in the middle of the property. Your guide will explain the making of olive products while your wander amonst the olive trees, then its back to the authentic African tent for an olive oil tasting experience with 34 Degrees South experienced staff. Finish your ride back at Jesters Flat cottage with a complimentary beverage and a quiet bit of relaxing in the treehouse. This is an exhilarating ride, so you’ll need to have a little bit of fitness and its really only suitable for adults! (Not available Monday or Tuesday).

Swagmans Snack
Ride into the surrounding Bushland for your own private picnic. With Custom made saddle bags (or our picnic basket) carrying local breads, cheeses and dips you can picnic at your leisure whenever the mood feels right. Allow 2 hours

Irishmans Pool Ride
Ride to a beautiful summer waterhole over the warmer months. Relax in the shade with a cheese platter and premium Australian wine or juice! (Childern must be over 12 years old for this ride). It is recommended that riders have a moderate level of experience for this journey. Also…don’t forget to bring your bathers!

Artisans Tour….NEW RIDE!!
This fabulous horse ride takes you across the Margaret River onto picturesque Bramley River Rd to visit our famous local artists, Rebecca Cool and Ross Miller. A great opportunity to see the Rosa Brook area and have a peek at a truly intriguing art gallery. We’ll include a bottle of our Jesters Flat Cabernet Sauvignon to share while you wander amongst the artwork at their stunning riverside farm. Children can participate in this horse ride, however they will need some experience (not suitable for young children). Allow aproximately 2.5 hours.

Beach Riding Adventure
Our Beach Ride has now changed venue due to the Margaret River Bush Fires. It’s still a fantastic experience with a chance to canter along kilometres of pristine beach and have a swim with your horse! Call us for all details and ride times.
This ride is for experienced adult riders only and bookings are essential well in advance.

Accomodation
Overnight Bush Camp Out
Bring your own tent or swag and camp out for $20 adults and $15 children per night,(unpowered site, with all new ablutions). The only condition is that you have a horse tour as well! Ride out for the day in the secluded bushland, get away from the hustle and bustle of town! After your ride, set yourself up under the trees and watch the sun go down… no traffic, no worries! You can even make a camp in the old railway carriage (the Brake Van) for only $30 per adult and $15 per child. There are two king singles for the adults and the children get to sleep in original Aussie swags! Give us a call and we can tell you all about it. See pictures below.
HOT SPRING HORSE RIDING/ ACCOMODATION SPECIAL!
Just a couple of minutes away, the delightful Rosa Brook Stone B&B accommodation sleeps up to 3 people. Peaceful and luxurious , a great place to stay if camping is not your thing!
Due to its ongoing popularity, Rosa Brook Stone B&B is offering their accomodation for only $120 per night with any horse ride booked at Jesters Flat, right through to January 1, 2012.( You’ll need to book at least one horse ride for each day you stay at the B&B). A beautiful continental breakfast is included to get you off to a good start. This is a limited offer through Jesters Flat only and bookings are essential. $120 per night is for two people. An additional person is welcome at an extra $40 per night.

Remedial Massage
Remedial massage with fully qualified massage therapist, Grace Brennan, Now open again. Grace will be available for remedial massages Thursday, Friday and Sunday on site and all other days as a mobile service. We’re always happy to fit in with guests requirements but as a guide:
Half hour massage after a ride $40
One hour massage with or without riding $75
One hour massage at your own accomodation $85
Additional Horse Riding Information
We don’t have fixed weight restrictions at Jesters Flat. However, if you are outside what is considered an average height or weight range please let us know beforehand so we can match you with the right horse. This also applies if you are very petite and would like a smaller horse.
Minimum age for an escorted horse ride is 6 years. Younger children can be lead on our ponies Jasper or Johnston for $20 per child (ponies lead by parents or guardians)
